At StoryMyKid, we personalize each book by integrating your child's likeness and details into the story. You provide us with 1 picture and some details of your child, and our platform weaves these elements into the narrative, making your child the star of their own unique tale.
What age range are your books suitable for?
Our books are designed to delight and engage children primarily between the ages of 2 to 8 years old. We focus on creating stories that are age-appropriate, visually stimulating, and intellectually engaging for this age group.
How do you use my data, especially the pictures I upload for my orders?
We prioritize your privacy and security. Once your order is complete, your uploaded pictures and associated order files will be destroyed. Your data is only used for the purpose of processing and fulfilling your order. If you wish to remove your full information from the order, simply send us an email with your orderID and email address, and we'll take care of it promptly.
Can I preview the book before it is shipped?
Yes! We offer a review and approval feature on our website. After you've picked the book, uploaded a picture and submitted your order, you will get a notification to review and approve a preview of the book. The pages where your child will be visible will be available for your approval.
How long does it take to receive a personalized book?
Once you place your order, it typically takes about 7-14 business days to print and ship your personalized book. This is not counting the time it will take you to review and approve the customization. We strive to deliver as quickly as possible while ensuring the highest quality of personalization for each story.
Can I choose the theme or storyline for my child's book?
Yes, we offer a variety of themes and stories to choose from and more are on the way each day. You can pick a book based on these preferences and we will personalize your child into each story and make them the star.
Are the books available in languages other than English?
Currently, our books are primarily available in English. However, we are working on expanding our offerings to include multiple languages to cater to a diverse range of readers. Stay tuned for updates on additional language options.
